Autumn Stevenson, MD, IBCLC, PMH-C

Dr. Stevenson is a family physician who’s top priority has always been compassionate patient care. She was awarded the Peter J. Attarian Humanitarian Award & The Commencement to Underserved People Award while in medical school. And, she received a special recognition from Banner Healthcare for outstanding patient care while working there as an Assistant Professor at the University of Arizona. She has practiced medicine in a variety of settings including urgent care, the emergency room and in the hospital with rural, urban and international groups. Her focus in medicine is in maternal-child health, lifestyle management of cardiovascular disease, nutrition and weight loss, the interface between mental and physical health, the effects of the environment on health, and healing through connection and community.

While Dr. Stevenson grew-up in Georgia, she has lived in the southwest for the majority of her life. She first came to the Tucson area to study at Biosphere2 while she was an Environmental Studies major at Columbia University. Dr. Stevenson is a graduate of the University of Arizona, College of Medicine, Tucson. She completed her residency in Family and Community Medicine at the University of New Mexico. She is happily married with three beautiful children who enjoy keeping her busy.
